“A piece of clothing is an idea which floats around a man's body”

The family's history began over a century ago in Binche, the capital of clothes manufacturing at the time. Coming from a long line of tailors, José and Philippe Bardiau opened their first outlet in the Toison d'Or galleries in Brussels back in 1977. Two other equally prestigious boutiques, in the Espace Louise gallery and at 79 avenue Louise, followed them. Enthusiasts of distinguished yet far from stilted fashion, the Bardiau brothers dedicate their time, their lives and their profession to their passion: that of an exacting and refined lifestyle, a balanced mix of tradition and imagination. Quintessentially British!
